...bravely step outside our comfort zones.

I had never been ocean fishing before. I'm not normally the type of person who would be doing this, I'd rather be at the spa. Instead, I was the only one who went to the front of the boat, where the worst of the wind and ocean spray was and experienced a moment of beauty. It took a moment of courage that was possible because of the transformation happening through the masterminds and the encouragement of the women around me.

...dream BIG.

I kept getting stuck. I thought I was the only one striving for something more and feeling lost about how to get there. Through the discussions I realized I was not alone, and that it was possible to make my dreams a reality. I've been dreaming about a birthing center, and I finally realized that not only is it possible but that I am capable of so much more!

...dissolve limiting beliefs.

I came to this event because of the transformation I saw in my friend. I never imagined how deeply this would affect not only my life but my practice as well. I often felt like my practice was a ball and chain, that I could not escape the stress. Through the masterminds I can now push away the the junk and I see myself clearly and I can't wait to get back and experience the joy in life.

...hold space for vulnerability.

Right from the very first session that we had, we were elbows deep, all in without hesitation without any walls. And that, to me, is very special. That doesn't happen in real life. You don't have time all day to sit around talking about where you're most vulnerable, which is not a bad thing, but it's super important to take that time. Unless we know ourselves how can we help others in meaningful ways? That to me is part of growth that you just can't get in, in the day to day life.

...discover genuine connection.

I had a lot of anxiety about coming here not knowing anyone. I am a huge introvert and wasn't sure what to expect. But it has been so great to be here and experience the unique things Alaska has to offer with people. The thing I've learned the most about myself is that I actually don't need to be alone as much as I think I do. I really enjoy being around people and it's just a genuine connection that you get when you disconnect from all the other pressures of life.
