I don't think I had a lot of expectations, I knew it was going to be out in the woods and remote. And I was definitely hoping we got to use the Argos as we were heading out there but I thought that was only during winter.
I knew it was going to be peaceful. I was just looking forward to whatever was going to be put in front of us. The experience overall has just been fantastic. From the people that came out here to the ride, the fun, the adventure, the discussions we've all had with one another, the peace.
The fact that time seems to extend longer when you're here because you're just resting and you're not constantly on the go, and you can do what you'd like with your time. And I just loved it. It's been incredible.
Well, back in my own environment, I usually have things I've got to do, I've got part of my routine, going to work out, work, writing lessons, that kind of thing. And here, there was none of that, there was no set agenda, there was nothing I had to check off my list and do in my day. It created this relaxed environment, to just enjoy.
There's more to experience, it's not like in one experience you can see everything and do everything. There's always going to be something new and that's the beautiful part. You never know what's going to come up further. You go on hike and you see incredible animal or you catch the great fish when you go fishing or you go for that hike.
It's always going to be different but it's always going to have that same restful environment that you want to come back to.
